Hi Guys, here come to saviour of the class blog! I am here to save the blog!
I missing you guys so much, there is lots of fun that we have miss together. It is going to be a year since we are together as a class, the class of 4C.

I have lots and lots of photos in my computer that we took in 4C'08 if you want it drop me a email, I maybe replying late cause I have lots of competition training going on for me. Life have been hectic as usual for me.

4C-rians, we may not be know each other in 50 years down the road, we may not call each other in 50 yeard down the road too but it is that 2 years we spend together we make things special. Come on, make this class blog like you blog, post up things you are doing or have you gotten DIST in all our exam which you never done before in YUYING!

Hope you all are enjoying yourself in your own schools now, and i know holidays is coming sooon... Let's see can we find something during the holiday for a Chirstmas bash or New Year Countdown. I promise you guys to come for sure! I have free up this coming holiday for 4C, so someone call for some outing - this is the only holiday i can afford to spend, the upcoming ones I will be having competition trainings already and some I will going to represent Singapore for competition (if i get through the finals) so someone work on outing pleaseeeeeeeeeee!

Oi stupid sam, never include those in shatec. Anyway as sam said, Let's get this shit over and done with... Being grown up has it's own responsibility.

School life after Secondary school is really different, the teachers( Or host mentors in mine and cyrus's case), they do not really care if you pass or fail, as they have already gotten their diploma/Degrees. So it's really up to us to help ourself.

Anyway there's a nice cafe/bistro in Vivo, Check out my blog for my review on it. :D

How are you guys doing out there? Some had already started their JCs? Some had been preparing for the admission for poly? Some are still working for extra cash? Some are studying hard to re-do they O levels. No matter where we are the 37 of us will stay as 1 class, 1 soul. 4C’08 will always be remembered. The way each and every on of us look like when we in school, in the white uniform. The noisy that we made in class. The way we taught each other. Not forgetting each and everyone of us have something different to remember.

Release of 2008 GCE O-Level Examination Results and 2009 Admission Exercises for Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and Institute of Technical Education

1. The results of the 2008 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) Examination will be released on Monday, 12 January 2009.
2. School candidates may collect their results from their schools at 2:00 pm on 12 January 2009. Private candidates will be informed of their results by post. They may also access their results through the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website from 2:00 pm on 12 January 2009.
3. Students can apply for Junior Colleges (JCs), Millennia Institute (MI), Polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) via both the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) and the Joint-Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE) using their GCE O-Level results.

Joint Admissions Exercise

1. The JAE is conducted annually by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to allow those who had sat for the GCE O-Level Examination to apply for admission to courses offered by the JCs, MI, Polytechnics and ITE.
2. The following groups of applicants are eligible to participate in the JAE:

• All Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Permanent Residents (PRs) with valid GCE O-Level Examination results.
• International students studying in a government school, government-aided school or independent school in Singapore with valid 2008 GCE O-Level Examination results.

Registration Process

1. The JAE registration period is for 5 calendar days, starting from 3:00 pm on Monday, 12 January 2009 and ending at 4:00 pm on Friday 16 January 2009.
2. Applicants are to submit their application online through the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS), which is accessible through the JAE website.
3. Eligible applicants who sat for the 2008 GCE O-Level Examination will receive ‘Form A’ on the day of the release of examination results (i.e. 12 January 2009). Form A will list:
   • The applicant’s GCE O-Level Examination results;
   • The courses which he/she is eligible to apply for under the JAE; and
   • His/her JAE-PIN (i.e. a personal password for the applicant to access the online internet registration system).
4. Applicants are strongly advised to complete the course application worksheet (provided in both Form A and the JAE information booklet) before submitting the online application via the JAE-IS. Applicants who have completed their worksheet prior to logging on to the JAE-IS should be able to complete their applications on the JAE-IS in less than 15 minutes.
5. Applicants are required to use their NRIC or FIN number, together with the JAE-PIN that is provided in their Form A, to access the JAE-IS. A SingPass is not required.
6. Applicants must provide a local mobile phone number during registration through JAE-IS if they wish to receive the results of their JAE application through SMS text messaging.
7. For SCs/PRs applicants who did not sit for the 2008 GCE O-Level Examination:
   • They are required to use their NRIC and SingPass to access the JAE-IS.
   • Alternatively, they may apply personally at MOE Customer Service Centre during the JAE registration period. To do this, applicants are required to bring along their original identity card, original GCE O-Level Examination certificate(s)/result slip(s) and Secondary School report book and/or CCA Certificate(s).
8. During the registration period for the JAE, all JCs, MI, polytechnics, ITE and all secondary schools will also make available computing facilities for students to make their applications online.

Application Fees

1. An application fee of $7 will be charged for the first application, and $10 for amendment of choice(s) to the submitted application. JAE applicants are allowed to amend their submitted application ONCE only. They will not need to make their fee payment online during the JAE period. All JAE application fees will only be collected after the exercise, by the institution (i.e. JC, MI, polytechnic or ITE) that the applicant is eventually enrolled in.

Results of Application

1. The posting results of the JAE application are tentatively scheduled for release on 30 January 2009 through the following modes:

• JAE-IS which is accessible through the JAE website;
• Short Messaging System (SMS) to the mobile phone number provided by applicant during registration; and
• JAE Interactive Voice Response System at telephone number 6691-2131

    2. For more details on the JAE, applicants can refer to:

• JAE Website; or
• MOE Customer Service Centre at 6872-2220 during office hours

Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise

1. The JPSAE will be conducted, together with the JAE, from 12 January 2009 to 16 January 2009. A student can apply concurrently to both the JPSAE and JAE. Successful applicants may be offered a course under the JAE and the same or another course under the JPSAE. Students who are offered courses under both JAE and JPSAE can decide to accept one of the two offers and exercise it during the enrolment period set by the polytechnics.
2. The JPSAE complements the existing JAE, by allowing polytechnics to consider applicants based on a broader measure of merits beyond performance in the GCE O-Level Examination. It allows polytechnics to consider students with outstanding talents and achievements in areas such as leadership, community service and sports. Each polytechnic will have the discretion to determine its own means of assessing applicants’ talents and achievements, including through portfolios and interviews. The polytechnics will set their selection criteria to ensure that only applicants who are able to cope with the rigours of a diploma education are admitted.
3. Details on the JPSAE can be found on the JPSEA website and the respective polytechnics’ websites.

Details for Release of Results

For People who had been scolding me about the no hair dye story. I believe Mrs Ravi had message you people the details.

Collection of results will start from 2pm in the school. Your attire is to be either smart causal or full school uniform. NO OUTLANDISH HAIR STYLE ALLOW (such as hair dye or fancy hair cuts)

Any student with inappropriate attire will only be allowed to collect their result at 5pm in proper attire. For people who think you can get your results through the net. You still need your JAE pin from the school to allow you do your polytechnic admission.
